Domestic air connectivity from the city will undergo significant changes from July 1 as airlines implement a revised flight schedule. The new timetable will reduce the number of weekly flights to Mumbai and Delhi, two of the country’s busiest aviation hubs. According to the updated schedule, the Mumbai flight, which was previously available every day, will now operate only four days a week. Likewise, Delhi flights have been reduced from three services a week to two, resulting in fewer travel options for passengers.

Flight Schedule Revised from July 1

The revised schedule is expected to affect business travelers, students, tourists, and passengers traveling onward to other domestic and international destinations through Mumbai and Delhi. Travelers with connecting flights have been advised to allow sufficient time while planning their journeys.

Airport officials have appealed to passengers to confirm their flight timings and operating days before leaving for the airport, as the revised schedule may also involve changes in departure and arrival times.

Industry experts say airlines periodically review their flight operations based on seasonal demand, aircraft deployment, route performance, and operational requirements. Such adjustments are common and help airlines optimize capacity while maintaining service efficiency.

Passengers who have already booked tickets are advised to stay in touch with their airlines for updates regarding any schedule changes or alternative travel arrangements. Airport authorities have assured that all necessary information regarding the revised schedule will be made available through airline communication channels.

Air passengers traveling from the city to Mumbai and Delhi will have to adjust their travel plans as a revised flight schedule comes into effect from July 1. The new schedule reduces the frequency of flights on both routes, affecting regular business and leisure travelers.

Under the revised timetable, flights to Mumbai, which were previously available every day, will now operate only four days a week. Similarly, flights to Delhi have been reduced from three weekly services to two, resulting in fewer options for passengers.

Airport authorities said the revised schedule has been communicated by the operating airlines and will remain in effect until further notice. Passengers have been advised to verify flight timings and operating days before booking tickets or heading to the airport, as schedules may differ from those followed in previous months.

The reduction in services is expected to impact a wide range of travelers, including corporate professionals, students, patients seeking medical treatment, and tourists. Since both Mumbai and Delhi serve as major aviation hubs, passengers with connecting domestic and international flights may need to plan their itineraries more carefully to avoid missing onward connections.
